Electric vehicle charging station

The electric vehicle charging station is located in the Large Town Parking Lot in the very town centre next to the town's farmers market.

The use of the Large Town Parking Lot and the charging itself is free for electric vehicle owners. Prior to using the charger, an electric vehicle owner must ask for the RFID card from the parking attendant to enable his/her identification at the device. Having charged the vehicle, the card must be returned to the parking attendant.

The location of the parking

The use of the Large Town Parking Lot and the charging itself is free for electric vehicle owners. Prior to using the charger, an electric vehicle owner must ask for the RFID card from the parking attendant to enable his/her identification at the device. Having charged the vehicle, the card must be returned to the parking attendant.

The charging station is equipped with standard IEC 62196 socket, type 2, mod. 3, ensuring the parallel two vehicle charging, 22 kW peak capacity of each or 44 kW simultaneously.  The installed quality seven-pole Mennekes socket supports the international standard IEC 62196. The plug is locked in the socket during the charging, and the installed electronics supports the international pole charging standard IEC61851, which defines safety mechanisms and the manner of data exchange between the vehicle and the charging station. The charging station has had the overcurrent protection installed for each socket and the entire charging station, respectively, which has ensured the maximum safety of station users as well as other citizens.
